Christina’s Submission for the American Dream Competition
My idea of The American Dream is to live in a Country where people do not fear the Government. It is important to have a Leader that sticks to their word, that is for the People, not Big Government, or Big Corporations. The American Dream is to live in a Country that you are proud of, not ashamed of.
Another part of this is of course to prosper in life. To have the opportunity to become successful, raise a family. Own a home. Not be in debt. I would love to have farm land where I do not have to register my seeds to the Government, and to where it would not be illegal for me to collect rainwater.
I’d love to have the same opportunities as everyone else, no matter what race, gender or what my financial status is.
Another important part of the American dream is to live in a country where you do not have to fear going to school, where you do not have to fear going outside. In a country where you have the right to bear arms to protect yourself and your family. A country where medical help is available to those whom need it.
American’s need a society where they are not “Dumbed down” by what’s on TV. Where children are outside playing more often. A Country where it’s citizens are healthy and happy. Where neighbors and communities are gathering together, and getting along.
My American Dream is to live freely, responsibly, successfully.
